With 22 years of professional experience, Mr. Whorton is recognized for his expertise in risk management. He has spent the majority of his career at Shaw Industries Group, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and one of the world's leading carpet manufacturers and floor covering providers. As acting group director of risk management, Mr. Whorton is responsible for addressing corporate and divisional environmental issues, ensuring workplace health and safety and transportation safety, and handling workers' compensation.
