Community Memorial Hospital's Board of Directors Authorizes HBE Corporation for Their New Replacement Hospital
The Board of Directors of Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA has authorized St. Louis-based HBE Corporation to move forward with design-build plans on their new $185 million replacement hospital project.

ST. LOUIS, MO, April 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Board of Directors of Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA has authorized St. Louis-based HBE Corporation to move forward with design-build plans on their new $185 million replacement hospital project. Experienced hospital design-build firm HBE Corporation will be providing architecture, engineering services, construction and site work on the project.

The 7-level acute care replacement hospital project will include: 227 private patient beds; 150 medical/surgical beds, PCU and telemetry beds; 28 critical care beds; mother/baby unit with 11 LDRs and 30 postpartum/antepartum beds; eight pediatric beds; 27-position NICU; 35-position emergency department; imaging department; pharmacy; lobby; central registration; surgery department with 10 operating rooms; heart cath/invasive radiology suite with five procedure rooms; shell space for a future Endo-Vascular room; a combined prep and recovery suite serving surgery and cath; CSS and material management departments; and a dietary department with first level cafeteria at lobby.

Construction on the project is scheduled to be complete in March, 2015.
