Garland, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Law. A seasoned attorney, Michael W. Garland is well recognized for his expertise in insurance, construction and automobile law. This year marks his 23rd in the legal industry and his second at the helm of the Law Offices of Michael W. Garland. There, he handles insurance defense, premises liability, automobile tort and construction litigation. Mr. Garland began his career with the law firm of Healy & Rocheleau in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1989 he joined the practice of John E. Keenan, Jr., in 1997, Mr. Garland joined the office of Donald E. Feener & Associates, where he ultimately advanced to the level of senior trial attorney in 2003. A distinguished presence among his fellow legal professionals, he has successfully argued cases in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Rhode Island Supreme Court.

Mr. Garland earned his JD from Suffolk University Law School and holds a master's degree in teaching from Brown University. He also received a bachelor of arts in politics from Brandeis University. Mr. Garland is a licensed attorney in the states of Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island. His professional affiliations include the Pawtucket Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the United States Supreme Court Bar Association.
