Robert Bakker exhibits skills in photography and painting
NEW YORK, NY, November 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert J. Bakker, Artist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fine art.
With 48 years of field experience, Mr. Bakker works as an artist, creating fine art and landscape paintings. He has acquired an expertise in photography and architecture, and considers himself a Renaissance man. Mr. Bakker was born in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, and spent most of his childhood in East Africa. At 6 years old, he developed a passion for art after having his portrait painted. In the near future, he hopes to showcase his work in galleries and museums
In 1953, Mr Bakker attended Stedelijk Museum School of Art, where he studied various painting techniques. While attending art school, he had the opportunity to work with Amsterdam's premier photographer, Fritz Gerritsen. A member of The Netherland Club of New York, he attributes his success to his experience and open-mindedness.
