Lorts to debut trade-exclusive upholstery line at Las Vegas Market
Jordan Spencer by Lorts will feature exposed wood upholstery

GOODYEAR, AZ, January 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lorts Manufacturing, a fine wood furniture manufacturer specializing in customization in finishing, has announced the presentation of its first exposed wood upholstery collection. The Jordan Spencer showroom, Suite C188, will host the unveiling February 1st through 5th at the Las Vegas Market. The collection will be the cornerstone of a newly created brand, Jordan Spencer by Lorts, which will cater exclusively to the interior design trade.

"Lorts is popular with designers because of our versatility," stated Ty Lorts, President of Lorts Manufacturing. "The creative designer wants to put their individual stamp on classic pieces to realize a vision. The concept of the upholstery collection was to extend the options that designers know and love about Lorts, allowing them to specify our finishes beyond case goods."

Eight silhouettes will be presented, with a variety of configuration options available. In addition to choosing Lorts options for the exposed wood portion of the frame, designers will specify welt, nailhead, and cushion details. Lorts will offer a handle of 20 fabrics chosen for excellent wear, representing a cross section of soft neutrals that coincide with today's trends, as well as leathers.

The 833 chair and a half is shown in Silver leafing to compliment the resilient grey velvet body fabric. The graceful lines of this piece and functional swivel make it perfect to use in a pair with the collection ottoman to create a small conversation corner in a master bedroom. Also available in sofa, chair, chaise, rectangle ottoman and round, tufted ottoman.

The 751 sofa features turned legs and exposed stretchers that echo the detail of existing pieces in the Lorts line. The classic silhouette and cushion options give designers a palette to build in the personality as it best suits their project.
