John V. Nyfeler Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
John V. Nyfeler is a third generation Swiss immigrant
AUSTIN, TX, July 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John V. Nyfeler, FAIA, Senior Vice President of Aguirre Roden, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of his architectural career.
Mr. Nyfeler, an architect registered to practice in seven states, has 40 years of professional experience and 10 years at Aguirre Roden, Inc. As the Senior Vice President, he is in charge of managing business operations in Austin, including marketing and delivery of all architectural and engineering services. In 2000, he was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. He attributes his success to the hard work, diligence and dedication instilled in him by his parents.
In 1958, Mr. Nyfeler received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He is certified in Homeland Security, Level III through the American College of Forensic Examiners and holds a certification in Texas Accessibility Standards and Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, he became a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council, of which he is a member. Mr. Nyfeler is also a certificate holder of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is former President of the Texas Society of Architects, the state component of the American Institute of Architects. He received the Community Service Award for Support of a Variety of State Initiatives for Urban Planning and Improvement from the Texas Society of Architects.
