Ohio Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine's New Facility Promotes A Healthy Environment By Using Clean, Sustainable Geothermal Energy Provided By Greensleeves
Ohio Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Inc. in Findlay, Ohio has selected a green solution (geothermal) to heat and cool their new 23,000 sq. ft. facility. The geothermal system is being provided by Greensleeves LLC, headquartered in Findlay, Ohio.

FINDLAY, OH, January 16, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Greensleeves LLC (Greensleeves) today announced that Ohio Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Inc. (Ohio Orthopaedics), the leading orthopaedic practice in northwestern Ohio, will incorporate a state-of-the-art geothermal heating and air conditioning system into their new facility. This system will cut energy costs for operating the building by at least 25% and save over 110 tons of carbon pollution per year when compared to a traditional system. It is expected to save significant dollars in energy costs over the life of the building. The facility will be located at the northeast corner of Bright Road and Fostoria Avenue. Geothermal Source Heat Pumps are a cost effective, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly way of heating and cooling buildings and are expected to grow from currently serving 2% of the market to become more than 30% of new construction by 2020.

Geothermal reliably delivers quality air-conditioning and heating, on demand, in every season by utilizing the Earth's nearly constant temperature. It is appropriate for new construction as well as retrofits of older buildings. Ohio Orthopaedics is now at the beginning of their construction project and expect to occupy their new 23,000 sq. ft. facility in the Fall of 2009.
