Cambridge Who's Who Names Rosario Lecaroz Vazquez, ASID, ASLA, ISA Professional of the Year in Interior Design
Rosario Lecaroz Vazquez, interior and landscape designer for the Design Network, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of interior design.


    /Architecture News Articles/ - San Juan, PR, February 28, 2008-Rosario Lecaroz Vazquez, interior and landscape designer for the Design Network, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of interior design.

Vazquez has an impressive background in the interior design industry. During her 27 years in the business she has developed expertise in the fields of landscape design, arboriculture, interior design, and design education. Vazquez has spent 14 years teaching design students at the University of Puerto Rico-Carolina. Formerly, she served as the president of the Council for Urban and Rural Forestry in Puerto Rico.

Her career goal is to create awareness on the importance of reforesting our urban communities with the most effective and creative design guidelines and following the correct arboricultural practices to manage and maintain new and existing urban forests.

Vazquez has a master of science in interior environments with a minor in landscape architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelors degree in interior design from the University of Wisconsin. She is pursuing a Ph.D. at Centro de Estudios Avanzados de PR y el Caribe. Additionally, Vazquez is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, director of the Caribbean Urban Forestry Council, and is the former president of the American Society of Interior Designers.
