Cambridge Who's Who Names La Tonya Menece Leeth Professional of the Year in Mechanical Design
La Tonya Menece Leeth, Mechanical Designer for Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in mechanical design.


    /Architecture News Articles/ - Boaz, AL, February 21, 2008, La Tonya Menece Leeth, Mechanical Designer for Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in mechanical design. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership and service.

Ms. Leeth has been involved in the mechanical design industry for 15 years. She pursued a career in the field because of a natural aptitude for the work and her love of designing and building. As a mechanical designer for Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, Ms. Leeth utilizes mechanical design and engineering concepts to create induction heating systems for automobiles. Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, which has worldwide operations in nine countries, is one of the few induction equipment manufacturers that maintains a full-time research and development program.

Leeth received her Associates Degree in Applied Science and Design Technology from Wallace State Community College. She is a member of Iota Lambda and SkillsUSA.
